The men who enter Borromeo Seminary come from a variety of places both within the Diocese of Cleveland and elsewhere. Once a part of the seminary, they enter into a community spirit among themselves as students as well as with the faculty and staff that make up the various entities of the Center for Pastoral Leadership.
Community life is important for anyone discerning a call to priestly service or religious life. Praying, studying, and socializing are all a part of the common life at the seminary. A high priority is placed on developing a communal and hospitable spirit.
A variety of social events and sporting events are planned throughout the year in an effort to build community and foster a spirit of fraternity among the men at Borromeo.
Two basketball courts, two racquetball courts, two soccer fields, a tennis court, a pool, and fully equipped weight and fitness room are on the seminary campus for student use. Such sporting activities as golf, karate, fencing, basketball, volleyball, and softball are available to students at the seminary.
