Diocesan priests presently serving in parishes serve as mentors and guides for the college seminarians. Their ministry in the seminary program is to make themselves available for conversation, advice, and to act as models of what the students are discerning. The mentors participate on a weekly basis in the holy hour, prayer, being present in the residence hall and dining room, and assist with the formation workshops and spiritual weekends.
