I was born and raised in Avon and have been a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish my whole life. I went to Avon High School and graduated in 2017. I first started to think about the priesthood in seventh grade after my history teacher told me to look into it. My first year of high school I decided to write a letter to every Catholic bishop in the United States and it was through this project, and under the advisement of multiple bishops, that I realized I needed to consider my vocation more seriously. My Junior year I contacted Fr. McCandless and with his help discerned that I should give the year to God to see where it is he is pulling my heart. I look forward to this year of growth and can’t wait to see what God has in store for me.
