Prayer Life

View More: http://lauramaephoto.pass.us/borromeoThe liturgical life of Borromeo is centered on the Eucharist. The students attend Mass every day and are given the opportunity to serve in liturgical roles as server, lector, Eucharistic Minister, and cantor. Along with daily Eucharist, the community gathers for morning, evening, and night prayer, a weekly holy hour, and other devotional services throughout the year. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available to students every Tuesday afternoon as well as three communal penance services that are scheduled during the course of the school year.

Other opportunities for worship include the seminary’s celebration of Eucharistic Devotions during one weekend every February as well as liturgical ceremonies at which the students can celebrate with the Bishop of Cleveland and the larger diocesan community. Students are also encouraged to gather in small groups for shared prayer and reflection, to pray the divine office, rosary, and Stations of the Cross.
